Becke Keener, age 55, of Bloomingdale, formerly of Jewett, passed away suddenly Sunday, February 25, 2024, at her home after a lengthy illness.
Born July 6, 1968, in Washington, PA, she was a daughter of Deanna Stollar Folkens of Washington, PA and the late Thomas Wayne Folkens. She graduated from Trinity High School in Washington, PA and was a waitress for 30 years, working most of that time at the former Bessie’s Restaurant in Cadiz.
Growing up Becke attended the Washington Free Methodist Church. She was a wonderful cook and baker, best known for her delicious pumpkin rolls. She also loved to go Thrift and spend time with her family.
Surviving in addition to her mother, are children Erica (Preston) Stull of Scio, Megan Keener (Brandi Weston) of Follansbee, WV and Jeffrey Myer, Jr (Brandie Glasure); companion Kevin Keener of the home; grandchildren James E. “EJ” Keener, Adyson Stull, Bentley Keener, Prezley Stull and Macie, Miley and Joshua Myer; sisters Marcy (Jeff) Frame of Washington, PA and Bonnie Miller of Carnegie, PA; aunts Sally Reedy, Barbara Stollar and Kathy (Tony) Mazza; cousins Jimmy Reedy, Erin Doncals and Angela Smith; the father of her daughters James W. Keener of New Rumley and entirely too many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, a son Joshua Myer, brother-in-law Michael Miller and uncle Jim Reedy.
Graveside services will be held Friday March 1, 2024, at 12:45 pm in Washington Cemetery, 498 Park Ave, Washington, PA with Pastor Emilee Smith officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 1-3 and 5-7 at Koch Funeral Home, 101 W Main St, Scio where a Time of Remembrance will be observed at 7 pm.
