Aaron Joseph Thompson, age 25, of Cadiz died tragically Saturday, October 4, 2014. Born December 19, 1988 in Steubenville he was the son of Larry and Lori Thompson of Cadiz and Kimberly and David Reppart of Jewett. Aaron played on the Jewett T-Ball and J-S Little League teams and the youth bowling league at Valie Lanes in Jewett where he also played with his dad on the "Cale's Tree Farm" team in the adult league. When he turned 13 he started racing Junior Dragsters at Salem and made it to the Nationals when he was 16. He also loved fishing and recently started golfing.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his children Javen Kerr and Daizy Sue Thompson and the mother of his children Kalynn Fletcher all of Scio; a sister Heather Thompson of Cadiz; a brother Nick Reppart of Cadiz; grandparents Frances Thompson of Cadiz, Charlie and Judy Kerr of New Philadelphia,  and Stewart and Carol Reppart of Palmetto, FL; a niece and nephew Aubree and Waylon Hodkinson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather's Robert Thompson and Charles Miller.

Private services will be held at the family's discretion. Koch Funeral Home, Scio has been entrusted with his arrangements.
