Chad Michael Taggart, age 36, went home to be with the Lord December 11, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ. Born December 16, 1978 in Canton he was a son of Michael Taggart of Scio and Cherie Canon Englert of Canton. Chad was a residential and commercial painter all of his adult life and realized his dream of owning his own business, Chad's Independent Painting in Gilbert, AZ. He loved to play video games, attend off road racing events and was a huge Arizona Cardinals fan.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife of 10 years, Mistey Woodruff Taggart; siblings Michael (Toscana) Taggart II of Queen Creek, AZ, Christy (Jason) Phillips of Grand Haven, MI, Gary (Myra) Coberly of Canton and Tracie (Jim) Stephan of Dover; three nieces; a nephew; an aunt; an uncle and his beloved cat Kallie.

Services will be held Tuesday, December 22 at 1 pm in Koch Funeral Home, Scio with Pastor Mel Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Jewett. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home. Chad was a very generous person and the family would like memorial contributions made in his honor to the donor's choice in lieu of flowers.
