Corey L. Wilson of Coshocton, OH joined our Lord on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024. Corey was born on November 24, 1968, in Steubenville, OH. He is the son of Thomas and Marlene Wilson, of Jewett, OH and the late Cheryl D. Wilson, also of Jewett. In addition to his mother, Corey was preceded in death by his brother, Marion Jones, and grandparents, Dean and Donna Telfer and Gerald and Ruth Wilson.

Corey graduated from Jewett-Scio High School in 1987 and was employed by the city of Coshocton as maintenance facilities for City Hall. He was previously employed at Raco Transmissions in Coshocton, OH and L.J. Smith's Stair Systems in Bowerston, OH. He was also a member of the Jewett United Methodist Church. Corey was a gentle soul who never met a stranger and helped many around him. He had numerous friends in the community and was extremely active in Alcoholics Anonymous. Besides his family and friends, he loved car racing, umpiring baseball games, OSU football and Cleveland Indians baseball. He will be deeply missed.

Corey is survived by parents, Tom and Marlene Wilson; sister Tricia and Dave Leggett, nephew Andrew Leggett, niece Allie Till and great nieces Hayden and Laney Till. He is also survived by Becky Davis, Austin, Sydney, Arielle, his four-legged fur baby, Millie and many friends.

Friends and family may call at Koch Funeral Home in Scio, OH on Thursday, February 8, 2024,  from 2-4:00 pm and 7-9:00pm. Calling hours will also be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 1-2:00 pm with the funeral following at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jewett, OH.
