David Lee Nemeth, age 86, of Jewett passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 in Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville.

Born July 4, 1934 in Dillonvale he was a son of the late Julius Nemeth and Anna Noska Nemeth Valdinger. He graduated from Scio High School in 1952 and worked as a deep coal miner.  Earlier in his life he was an avid deer and fox hunter and he enjoyed polka music.

Surviving are children Kathy King of Kilgore, Susan Nemeth, David Carl Nemeth and Victor Nemeth all of California and Travis Nemeth; grandchildren Cora, Rachel, Rebecca, Faith and Bronte; his companion Sandra Myers of Cadiz; a half-brother Steve Valdinger of Scio and the mother of his children Mary Rouch of Kilgore.

He was preceded in death by twin sons Gary Lynn and Jerry Lee Nemeth and a sister Marie Andrews.

Burial will take place in Grandview Cemetery, Scio with no services. Koch Funeral Home, Scio has been entrusted with his arrangements.
