David Thomas White, age 71, of Steubenville, passed away July 17, 2026, in Carriage Inn of Steubenville with his devoted sister by his side. Born November 30, 1954, in Steubenville he was the son of the late Donald Edwin White and Mary Alice Paulin White.
David had a joyful spirit and was loved by everyone he met. In his younger years he attended the Jeff Co. Workshop where he enjoyed building and making items he shared with his family. David loved food, especially spiced jellybeans, malted milk balls, waffles and coffee, and his favorite meal at restaurants was always fish and fries when he was out on his numerous trips. He enjoyed whistles and could always be seen wearing a shirt with a pocket in the front, affixed with a small notepad and pens to gather names of people he met, especially pretty girls.
Surviving is his sister Pam Dulkoski of Germano, nephews Jim Reed, Jr and Dan (Frankie) Dulkoski, a niece Steph (Bud) Risdon, great niece and a great nephew Hannah and Isaac Dulkoski, aunts Jean “Ginger” Howell and JoAnne McAfee, longtime friend Donna Oliver and numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Karen (Jim) Reed and a brother-in-law Wayne Dulkoski.
The family would like to thank Paramount Support Services, Valley Hospice and Carriage Inn of Steubenville for David's excellent care.
