Diane E. Kirby, age 74, of Bowerston, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday, June 30, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Duane D. Kirby and Matila E. Kalman Kirby. She was an electrician for LTV and Republic Steel at the 8th St Mill in Canton, retiring around 2017. She also owned a farm and loved caring for animals, once rescuing two horses. She was a well-known accomplished drummer who played with various area bands and was in a band that entertained the troops at military bases in the late 1960's to early 1970's. She was also a giving person who wanted to share her knowledge to help you grow as a person.

Diane will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends as someone who cherished her family, friends and the Kirby-Hoover farm that she shared with so many. If you were one of the lucky ones she loved, she loved with all her heart.

Honoring her wishes, no funeral services will be held. She will be laid to rest with her mother and her friend for life Ruth Hoover at Perrysville Cemetery. Koch Funeral Home, Scio has been entrusted with her arrangements. www.kochfuneral.com
