Donald Wilson Wallace, 82, was born Sept. 12, 1933 and was raised on the family farm in Harrison county. He was a 1951 graduate of Freeport High School, served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Harrison County Farm Bureau. He never hesitated to help anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Audrey Jean (Crall) Wallace; parents, Boyd P. and Lena L. (Decker) Wallace, a step son George Hamilton, Jr. and sister in law Marlene Wallace.
Donald was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed by those he left behind: his brother George Wallace of New Philadelphia, OH; daughters Mae Wallace of Chardon, OH, and Laura Jean (Wallace) Taylor, Son-in-law Donald Taylor, step children Shady Taggart and Rick Schupp, grandchildren Amber Hauber, Heather Taylor, Christopher Garner, Adam Taylor, Ashly (Christopher) Garza and great-grandchildren Avah, Christopher and Alayna Garza, all of Crown Point, IN.
Calling hours will be  11am-1pm Wednesday Nov 18 at Koch Funeral Home in Scio, Ohio with the funeral immediately following at 1 pm.
