Douglas Henry "Doug" Coyle, age 81, died Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at his home near Jewett.

Born June 6, 1942, in Caldwell he was the son of the late Henry D. Coyle and A. Florence Spence Coyle.

Doug enjoyed listening to country western music and playing his harmonica.

Surviving is his sisters Rita Coyle and Linda (Gary) McBride both of Jewett, a special niece Amy Lynn Carney of Jewett and three great nephews Matthew Russell Cromley of Jewett, Gary Alan Cromley of Akron and Thomas Wayne Carney of New Rumley.

He was preceded in death by sisters Ema Lou and Norma Jean Coyle.

Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services. Koch Funeral Home, Scio has been entrusted with his arrangements.
