Glenn Edward Gilmore, age 54, of Cadiz, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.
Born May 28, 1971, in Dennison, he was a son of Barbara VanFossen Gilmore of Cadiz and the late Donald Gilmore. A Cadiz High School graduate, Glenn was dedicated to his job as a pressman at the Freeport Press in Freeport for the past 33 years. He considered the people that he worked with as extensions of his own family.
A genuine and happy person, Glenn never met a stranger. He was an avid New England Patriots fan who also enjoyed Fantasy Football. He enjoyed fishing in area lakes, playing corn hole, cards and board games; he loved anytime he could spend with his family and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife Stacie Sue Woods Gilmore on September 18, 1997. They were married on July 1, 1996.
Surviving in addition to his mother, is a brother Donnie Gilmore and his wife Stephanie of Cadiz, a sister Cindy Gilmore Newkirk and her husband Mike of Jewett, nephews Ethan and Ty Gilmore of Cadiz, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Kathy and Wilbur Woods of Scio, a sister-in-law Roberta Woods of Scio, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 5 pm in Koch Funeral Home, Scio with Pastor Dixie Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Scio. Friends may call Wednesday, July 2nd, two hours prior to the service from 3-5 pm at the funeral home.
