Malinda L. Baker Bailey, age 77, of Cadiz, formerly of Jewett, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in Aultman, Canton.

Born June 25, 1947, in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Earl A. Baker and Louise Eaton Baker. Malinda graduated from Jewett High School in 1965 and married Kenneth Eugene Bailey on July 31, 1965. She was Methodist by faith and had attended Bethel Church near Jewett. She enjoyed listening to 1960's music, reading books and taking care of her flowers. Malinda had an adventurous spirit and was always willing to travel. The past four years she traveled with her good friend, Herb Kellar, and she especially loved traveling to support anything her grandchildren were involved in.

Malinda was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Eugene Bailey, on April 12, 2017, a brother Bob Baker, sister Barbara Cerett, sister-in-law Irene Elliott and an infant twin brother.

Surviving are sons Doug (Angie) Bailey of Leesville and Kevin "Herb" (Tracy) Bailey of Bowerston, grandchildren Chelsey (Chris) Stitt, Shawn (Jenna) Bailey, Brandon (Kennedy) Bailey, Devin (Shannon) Bailey and Bryson (Evann) Bailey, great grandchildren Paisley Bailey, Hensley Bailey, Landri Bailey, Grady Stitt, Harrison Bailey, Truett Bailey, Bexley Bailey and Colter Bailey, a brother-in-law David Bailey of Jewett, a sister-in-law Gerri Kirkland of Massillon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
