Norma Jane Pierson passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at Claymont Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Uhrichsville, Ohio.  She was born October 11, 1932, to the late Harry S. Brown and Eunice Clark Brown.  On April 4, 1953, she married Boyd G. Pierson, who preceded her in death on November 17, 1986. Together they raised three daughters, Brenda (John) Stocker, of Sherrodsville, Betty Gotschall of Scio and Judy (Tad) Lairson of Carrollton.  Norma is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Kristy (Trent) Edie of Uhrichsville, Tiffany (Jeff) Sibel of Strongsville and Troy (Alexia) Lairson of Greene.  Her 10 great grandchildren who lit up her life, Katie, Kelsey, Taylor, Avery and Bryce Edie, TJ, Lauren and Logan Sibel, Lincoln and Everly Lairson.  Also surviving is a brother, Guy Edward Brown of Jewett, OH and sister, Norine Strange of Franklin, NC. In addition to her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by her infant son, Kenneth, great grandson, Garrett Edie and son-in-law, Edward Gotschall.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 11 am until 1 pm at Koch Funeral Home, Scio. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Sherrodsville Memorial Gardens with Pastor Deborah Kellar officiating.
