Paul Edward Gotschall, age 87, of Jewett died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Gables Care Center, Hopedale.

Paul was born April 21, 1931 in Rumley Twp Harrison Co, on the farm that he lived on most of his life. He was a son of the late Paul McKinley Gotschall and Daisy Vernon Heidy Gotschall.  He graduated from Scio High School and worked for Scio Cabinet Company and Weirton Steel Co. But what he enjoyed the most was farming. He raised sheep for many years and bred and raised Quarter Horses. He had also been a Harrison Co 4-H Advisor.

Surviving is a sister Frances Iona Skeeles of Kennesaw, GA, four nieces, three nephews and his friend and caregiver Connie Miller.

Preceding him in death are a brother John Oliver Gotschall, a sister Leila June Woods and a nephew.

Services will be held Saturday at 10 am in Koch Funeral Home, Scio with Pastor Kimberly Arbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Perrysville Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
