Ritchie Myers Callis, age 45, of Malvern, formerly of Scio, passed away suddenly Friday, October 21, 2016 in Aultman Hospital, Canton.

Born May 17, 1971 in Steubenville he was a son of Linda May Lindsay (Eli) Miller of Sugarcreek and the late Ritchie Myers. He worked as a landscaper and in the construction industry.  Ritchie was a talented singer/song writer who also played guitar. He loved rock and gospel music and was Protestant by faith.

Surviving in addition to his mom and step dad are his fiancée Paula Sparks of Malvern;  a brother Robbie Bland and a sister Ruthy Bland (Clarence) Gladstone both of Uhrichsville; grandmother Ruth Duncan of Michigan; nieces and nephews Destiny, Drake, Ryan, Abigail, Lucas and Madison  and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a step dad Jerry Bland.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 2 pm. in Grandview Cemetery, Scio with Pastor Bill Buchanan officiating. Koch Funeral Home, Scio has been entrusted with his arrangements.
