Rosemary "Rose" Prince, age 75, of Scio, formerly of WV, died Saturday, January 18, 2020 at The Meadows of Cadiz after a brief illness.

Born May 13, 1944 in Grainger County, TN she was a daughter of the late Simon Arthur Welch and Lula Mae Harville Welch. She was a custodian for West Virginia University for 22 years retiring in 2014. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and crocheting and in her younger years she belonged to a bowling league.. But what she loved most was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter Shelia Prince Kimbrel of Grafton, WV; grandchildren Dustin Prince, with whom she resided, of Scio and Samantha Kimbrel and Caden Kimbrel both of Grafton, WV; great grandchildren Nevaih Prince, Loriana Prince and Dustin Prince, Jr, John McCammon and April Renforth; a sister Vena Winstead of TN and a brother Dalla Welch of GA.

Preceding her in death are a son Randall Lee Prince and a grandson Andrew Prince.

Honoring her wishes there will be no services. Koch Funeral Home, Scio has been entrusted with her arrangements.
