Bonnie Jean Rothacher, age 70, of Scio, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Claymont Health and Rehab Center, Uhrichsville.

Born September 8, 1952 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Ray Geese and Edna Waindt Geese. She graduated from Dover High School and furthered her education becoming a licensed beautician, then later in her life she received a LPN degree. She had worked at Sunnyslope Nursing Home, Bowerston and The Harrison County Home near Cadiz.

She loved her family above all else. She was kind to the elderly, took care of animals and loved children. She enjoyed fishing with her family and working in her flower garden.

Surviving is her son Thomas E. Rothacher, II of Leesville; she was NaNa to grandchildren Taylor Martin, Katie Rothacher and Thomas Rothacher, Jr. and great grandchildren Kyla, Kaleb, Korah, Rayah, Waylynn and Ellie. And she was the most loved “Aunt Bonnie” to all the rest. She was preceded in death by her sister Susan Geese.

Honor her wishes there will be no services. Koch Funeral Home, Scio has been entrusted with her arrangements
