Dimmie L. Rose
Dimmie L. Rose, age 74, of Dover, OH, formerly of the Scio area, went home to her Lord and Savior, Monday, June 28, 2021 from Country Club Nursing Home, Dover, after a lengthy illness.
Born July 30, 1946 in Dennison, OH, she was a daughter of the late Forest W. Rose and Thelma E. Petty Rose. In 1964 she graduated from Utica High School, she then received her Bachelor’s Degree at West Liberty State and was awarded her Masters from the University of Dayton. She worked as an administrative assistant at Belmont Technical College in St. Clairsville, OH prior to her illness.
Dimmie enjoyed singing and was a talented crafter, making her own puppets that she performed in her Puppet Ministry to share the love of the Lord.
Surviving are her sons Kenneth (Debra) Albert of John’s Island, SC and David (Melissa) Albert of Lancaster, OH; grandchildren Zach Trainer, Caden Albert, Bethany (Gerson) De La Cruz, Kristen Albert and Allison (fiancée Luke Baker) Albert; siblings Daniel Rose, Denny (Elizabeth) Rose, Dixie Hendricks and Dwaine (Tracy) Rose and nieces and nephews Daniel Rose, Jeffrey Rose, Tammy Curry, Nichol Hendricks (fiancée Todd Gleckler) and Timothy and Dieken Rose.
She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Marsha Rose, a brother-in-law Kenneth “Tittle” Hendricks and a niece Michelle Rose.
Services will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm in Koch Funeral Home, Scio with Pastor LuAnn Youngman officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the ETW True Heart Foundation, PO Box 92, Jewett, Ohio 43986.
