Donna Darlene Wright Norton

   Donna Darlene Wright Norton, age 64, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

   Born May 17, 1958 in Dennison she was a daughter of the late Larry Wright and Thelma M. Thompson Wright. Donna was a caregiver who always thought of other people’s happiness above her own. She cherished the moments spent with family and friends and have them lovingly framed all over the walls of her home. She was a huge fan of Neil McCoy, never missing him recite the daily Pledge of Allegiance. Last year when he came to Pennington’s in Jewett she got to hear him recite the pledge in person. But it was a “real dream comes true” moment when he took time to talk with her and get photos.

   Surviving is her devoted husband William “Bill” Norton, whom she married June 25, 1982, children Charles (Kimberly) Woods of Jewett and Ian (Lyndsi) Norton, William “Billy” Norton, Jr and Melissa (Mike) Chandler all of Charlotte, NC; brothers Randy Wright of Jewett, Larry (Trolla) Wright of Inwood, WV, half brothers Bo (Misty) Bailie and Clyde (Stacie) Bailie both of Jewett; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins and one great grandchild.

   She was preceded in death by her loving daughter Darla Sue Woods almost two weeks ago, on December 11, 2022.

   Services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 2 pm in Koch Funereal Home, Scio with Pastor Dixie Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Jewett. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 12-2 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Koch Funeral Home, PO Box 193, Scio, Ohio 43988 to help with her funeral expenses.
