Esther "Jean" (Kimble) Reardon

   Esther “Jean” Kimble  Reardon, age 64, of Scio passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 in Trinity Hospital Twin City, Dennison surrounded by her loving family.

   Born April 1, 1956 in Dennison she was a daughter of the late Fred Hamilton Kimble and Dessie May Powell Kimble.  Jean enjoyed genealogy, having documentation that traced her ancestors back to the 1600’s. She, with help from her husband Ben, diligently searched through courthouse documents and cemeteries in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania looking for family members. Jean married Ben R. Reardon on June 22, 1974. They loved driving throughout the country, especially through the Smokey Mountains. For 28 years they spent their anniversary in the beautiful mountains of Cherokee, NC.

   Being a homemaker gave her so much joy and she will be sadly missed by her husband Ben; her son Adam (Ashley) Reardon of Bowerston; grandchildren Justina, Damon and Aubrey Reardon of Bowerston; siblings Donna Mae Rhodes of Boise, ID, Fred “Junior” Kimble of Scio, Richard Kimble of Vista, CA, Harold and Charlotte Kimble both of Scio and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

   She was preceded in death by her siblings Clifford and Francis Kimble and Ellen and Janet Dotson.

   Services will be held Monday, March 15th at 2:00 pm in Koch Funeral Home, Scio with Pastor Roger Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Scio. Friends may call Monday from 12-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wendy’s Walk, 88550 Maple Rd, Jewett, Ohio 43986.
