Jane Ann (Stokoe) Arnold

   Jane Ann Arnold, age 78, of Jewett (Perrysville), passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 in Akron General Hospital.

   Born August 21, 1941 in Canton she was a daughter of the late James H. "Buck" Stokoe and Hattie Lucas Stokoe.  After graduating from Timken High School in 1958 she went to work at The Scio Pottery for a few years then she worked at Carrollton Landmark and she retired from the former Thorne’s IGA in Carrollton.

   Jane had an adventurous soul, she enjoyed riding horses on trail rides and endurance rides all over the US and Canada, riding 4-wheelers and ziplining on her many travels with her husband Bob. She also enjoyed being outdoors savoring a cup of coffee on her deck while watching her hummingbirds or working in her flower beds. But what she loved most was spending time with her family.

   Surviving are her husband Robert “Bob” Arnold with whom she would have shared 20 years of marriage on August 23rd of this year. Also surviving are children Clinton (Donna) Rich of Croton, Paul (Tina) Rich of Perrysville, David (JenDee) Rich of Scio, Nick (Megan) Arnold of Kent and Randi (Kevin) Lowery of Boardman; grandchildren Stephanie, Bambi, Kasey, Caleb, Corbin, Devin, Ashlyn, Hunter, Hannalee, Natalie and Tommy; great grandchildren McKayla, David, Matt, Lauren, Kayden, Kayne, Mason, Colin, Veronica and Leo; sisters Lola Kellos of Canton and Anna (Earl) Needs of Myrtle Beach, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.

   In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Wanda (Tony) Myers, and a brother-in-law Andy Kellos.

   Honoring her wishes there will be no public services. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, www.2.heart.org. Koch Funeral Home, Scio has been entrusted with her arrangements.
