LouAnn (Grimm) Firman

LouAnn Firman, age 76, of Jewett, formerly of Germano and Steubenville, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, at Sunnyslope Nursing Home, Bowerston. Born November 22, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Freeman Grimm and Violet Marie Riggs Grimm and was raised in Bergholz.

   LouAnn attended Jewett Methodist Church, prior to her illness. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and watching gardening shows on YouTube. But what she loved was spending time with her family.

   She was preceded in death by her husband Myron Firman, sister Lisa Gray and half-brother Wesley Hendricks, Sr.

   LouAnn is survived by her only child Allen Pheiffer, Jr of Jewett, granddaughters Amanda Marie Pheiffer and Alisha Michelle Finnegan, a great grandson Devan Pheiffer, nephews Wesley Hendricks, Jr and Bobby and Jason Gray, a niece Ashley Hendricks and step mother Shirley Grimm of Bergholz.

   Services will be held Wednesday, November 8th at 1 pm in Koch Funeral Home, 101 W Main St, Scio with Pastor Vicki Muth officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Jewett. Friends may call two hours prior to service from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home. www.kochfuneral.com
