Mary Rossellen (Laisure) Wolfe

Mary Rossellen “Pumpkin” Wolfe (Laisure), age 57, of Jewett, Ohio, born June 15, 1965 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Hiram Ross Laisure and Mary J. Laisure, passed away March 6, 2023 at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV following a brief  illness.

   Mary is survived by her husband Chris Wolfe of the home; her three children Linnette (Brian) Waller of Dover, Ohio, Nathan Kohler of Phoenix, Arizona and Cassandra (Jordan) Call of New Philadelphia, Ohio; four step sons Josh, Devin, Michael and Jerod; five grandchildren Jacob, Branson, Ethan, Jazmine and Aerie and siblings Jimmy, Mike, Hazel and Marcelle.

   Mary graduated from Lakeland High School Class of 1984, where she was in the band and played on the girl’s basketball team. Later she received a nursing degree from Belmont College and went on to become a registered nurse. She was a compassionate nurse who loved caring for the residents. She worked at Sunnyslope Nursing Home in Bowerston where she was currently the MDS nurse and had previously been the ADON. In her free time Mary enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and spending time with her family and friends.

   Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Lannette, a grandson Keagan Call and her beloved dog fur baby Squirt.

   She will be sadly missed and forever loved by all that had the honor of meeting her.

   A celebration of her life is being planned for a later date. Koch Funeral Home, Scio has been entrusted with her arrangements.
